Discover the refined elegance of Aquila’s new flagship store, proudly positioned within the prestigious Chadstone Shopping Centre. This space represents a harmonious fusion of the brand’s rich Italian heritage and modern Australian design, executed with precision and craftsmanship. Delivered within an ambitious five-week timeframe, the project was a testament to meticulous planning and expert execution.

Design

Aquila’s Chadstone store embodies a refined material palette that speaks to both sophistication and durability. The striking shopfront, adorned with Axolotl Lustre Spectrum custom-coloured glass and bead-blasted stainless steel columns, creates a bold yet inviting entrance. Stepping inside, customers are enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and texture, where Portugal Cork Co charcoal veneer cork and Forbo furniture linoleum in Ash and Pebble offer a tactile experience. The joinery, crafted from European White Oak, Smoked Oak, and Sublime Teak, seamlessly integrates with the space, while RMS Traders Peperino Grigio Bluestone adds a timeless foundation. Each design element was carefully considered to create a contemporary yet timeless retail environment.
