The impressive collection demands an equally impressive space, the Yarra Valley Commercial did what they do best and delivered a space boasting attention to detail like no other!
Design
A turnkey project from demolition of the existing site and rebuild. With the entire space in curves the concern was proportion, would it be amazing or awkward?!
With construction taking place in the midst of COVID, material delays created impact on project timeline as did onsite restrictions. A two week hiatus occurred when the construction industry when into full shutdown mode instigating a knock on effect that further bumped completion date. However, no complaints with owners exclaiming they wouldn’t trade the output that was achieved for time.
The curvature was always going to be a challenge. From the lighting to service desk, display cabinets to fitting rooms, couches, garment racks to mirrors, alcoves to artwork, not an angle to be seen. Like most challenges that are overcome, no better reward exists than the end result. An effortless floating space was acheived offering a boutique shopping experience for the discerning in boutique fashion.
