It was a pleasure to be working in our very own Yarra Valley backyard for one of Australia’s most treasured and iconic wineries, Domaine Chandon. The project brief was to create an atmosphere that achieved casual, unpretentious and fun, whilst at the same time was refined and elegant.
The project demanded a vast multitude of finishes, and our team were responsible for producing and installing every one of them. Despite the challenges and the intensity of making that happen, the outcome was incredibly special. The bespoke configuration of the joinery in its various shapes and designs featured as a project highlight as was working with a unique steel mesh from the USA and fitting Australian marble from Cairns which showcased stunning traditional Australian earthy reds and browns within every piece.
Deliverables included CAD Programming and inhouse production of all bespoke joinery items. Closely working with the design team, Yarra Valley Commercial project managed the entire process from electrical to plumbing, stonework to painting, floor finishing to upholstery and everything in between.
